Obama-Kerry Iranian Appeasement in the Trash – Is War Next?

Tensions are high as President Trump canceled the Iran deal. the IDF has been increasingly hitting Iranian targets within Syria, and there is mounting fear of an Iranian response. As I have written about at length, Iran has very little in the way of a response. It is a paper tiger that has started to believe its own hype. It is a poor, backwards, corrupt country with negligible military experience and a shaky regime and paranoid regime. The Iraqi army, itself famous for incompetence, was a far superior (though smaller) force to the Iranians during their long conflict in the 80’s. Iran’s experience is in funding and controlling proxies to carry out its terrorism and fighting for it. A brief and quick analysis here, followed up later hopefully with a more in-depth analysis of the dangers and opportunities, the US and Israel face. Before Though the mainstream left leaning media, especially in Israel, touts the current Israeli government as ultra-right (even fascist, whatever that means), many right leaning Israeli voters are disappointed with Bibi’s (Benjamin Netanyahu’s) lack of action regarding our enemies. A Microcosm of the Conflict – and a strong and well restrained Mench.

Incredible… and not surprising. This video, apparently taking place in Australia, has been getting quite a bit of publicity on social media recently, as another example of islamist intolerance, but the most telling fact is likely to go unnoticed. The only reason a lone muslim dares attack a Jew (who by the way, nicely and easily subdued him on his own) among a crowd of Jews… is because he trusts in their values. He knows he is safe. Safe among the highly observant Jews, and safe thereafter in the hands of the civilized Australian police. Reversing the situation is unthinkable. Not only would a Jew not go scream insanities at a bunch of highly religious muslims, but if he did he would be likely beaten to death or near death (depending what country we are in and what if any police consequences there would be) by the mob. And this is a microcosm of the conflict at large… they understand the West, and use their knowledge of us and our values to their advantage, and we refuse to understand them and what they are and want. False Direction in the Ongoing debate about the Islamist threat

It has now been over week since the November 2015 Paris terrorist attacks. One of my initial reactions, was to criticise the typically shortsighted Western media coverage of the attacks, which were typically incorrectly jumping to conclusions about the source and objectives of the attack. They all started their “analysis” by presuming that France was “elected” as a target for this attack by the current Western euphemism for a boogeyman, ISIS or ISIL, in retaliation to some policy or combination of policies that France has applied externally and/or internally. As I wrote subsequent to the attack: Nothing could be further from the truth. No one “picked” France. The reason there are from 100 to 150 murdered people in Paris in a series of violent terrorist attacks in the last couple of days is because France and Paris are full of Muslims. To be more precise, France is full of Muslims and still has many non Muslims. This is the simple truth. And the more that the substantial non Muslim population placates and appeases the Muslim population, the more attacks there will be. Islam strikes Again, and so does the Western Media

Watching coverage of the latest carnage the West suffered at the hands of Muslim terrorists is even more troubling than the terrorist acts themselves. This is so because the coverage only indicates that there will be much more death in the future. The coverage mostly surrounds “Why Paris, why France?” .. and the “expert pundits” desperately try to depict France as actually hard-line in the anti-terror and anti-muslim spheres in order to show why the terrorists have chosen Paris as the target. So France is actually too extreme in its battle against Islam, and this is why it has been targeted; incredible! Nothing could be further from the truth. No one “picked” France. Charlie Hebdo Terrorist Attack and the Lame Response

That two armed terrorists slinging Ak-47s can inflict that kind of slaughter on a site that was already under police protection (that satirical paper had received numerous threats), murder 12 people there and then escaped unscathed… parade around Paris, to resurface later and take more hostages… alive 3 days later is unbelievable. It points to the height of incompetence and Frances’ inability and/or unwillingness to confront the Islamist enemy that has engulfed it. I have spoken about this unwillingness at length elsewhere. Less than two months ago, Jerusalem suffered a similar attack when two armed muslim terrorists attacked a synagogue in the neighborhood of Har-Nof and killed or wounded a score of unarmed praying civilians. A Druze police officer who arrived at the scene first was also mortally wounded. Two traffic cops in the vicinity quickly arrived, engaged the two scumbags in a gun fight and a third officer who arrived quickly shot and killed both terrorists. The incident, though ghastly in its death-toll, was over in minutes… long before any special forces even arrived. Some more good Calls – Terrorist heart attacks & Sony

In addition to these earlier social media posts, I would like to share the following posts in the Lighthouse. The PA (though Fatah’s Al-Aqsa Brigades) threatened Israeli government ministers after one of their own suffered a fatal heart attack while attending a protest against the IDF. Claiming they would “respond in kind”, after the death of Ziad Abu Ein. Abu Ein was indicted (actually the first person to be extradited from the US, where he had fled, to Israel) for a 1979 terrorist attack in Tiberias where a bomb killed two Isreli youths, 16-year-olds Boaz Lahav and David Lankri as well as injuring 36 others. Though after he was extradited to Israel in 1981, he was sentenced to life in prison, he was soon released in 1985 as part of the Jibril prisoner exchange deal. In the 1985 deal made with Ahmed Jibril’s PFLP-GC 1,150 Arabs were released by Israel in exchange for three IDF soldiers, Yosef Grof, Nissim Salem and Hezi Shai that were captured in the first Lebanon War. End of Year Calls – Some Good Recent Social Media Posts & some Reagan

Some of the more poignant social media posts I made recently below for your enjoyment and commentary: Posted after the Martin Place terrorist hostage crisis (Dec 14 2014): I call on ‪#‎Australia‬ to end the futile cycle of violence… and hand over the Timor Gap, as well as other occupied waters to the Muslim Indonesian government… in exchange for peace, of course. The occupation cannot go on. True, most of Australia’s land was forcibly taken from Aborigines, and not Muslims, but apparently they (Aborigines) do not blow themselves up nor shoot hostages. Therefore, the land must be handed over to Indonesia. In order for a comprehensive peace, I also call for Australia to stop issuing permits for expansion of the settlements (towns where non-Muslim Australians live), evict the European Christian setters from the outback and the coasts… and additionally for the handing of Perth over to Qatar, in order to appease Al-Jazera. Murdered Children, Kassam rockets, Israel’s lack of deterrence and the Opportunity

As reservist call-ups are going out every hour, and a Gaza operation is in the air, in response to an endless barrage of missiles from Hamas, I set my pen down to some thoughts, before possibly finding a keyboard and an internet connection luxuries quite out of reach. And so, a few intermixed subjects must be explored within the piece, hopefully the reader will not mind. Within a day of the kidnappings of the three youths, being announced, I posted the following article. Of course along with all Israel, I prayed and hoped for the safe return of our young boys. At the dawn of their lives, innocent, full of life, students. It was not to be, since they were murdered in cold blood by Hamas thugs. Within the article was correct analysis about Hamas being behind the attack, the likelihood that the boys entered a stolen Israeli vehicle willingly having been tricked, and the importance of the victim’s cell phones in the investigation among other details all before any of this information had been released. Bad Day for the Media – Islam behind Boston Marathon bombing after all?

I suppose it will ruin the media’s day that the Boston Marathon bombers were Muslim after all.. Chechen’s relatively lighter appearance had given them so much hope they could blame an American Christian (thus “right-wing extremist”) and subsequently call for banning almost everything…Christianity, guns, being white, being a man, marathons and walking around without a gov’t permit for starters… Since instead this was perpetrated as expected by terrorist Muslim enemies of the Western World, the reaction instead will be nothing but campaigns to explain to us that these people who follow the Koran and Jihad are bad muslims, and that the ones who do not follow them are good ones… thus that Islam has nothing to do with this terror and in any event -“it’s Bush’s fault”. Before this of course, they are praying and desperately trying to conclude that these two Chechens (the people of Chechnya) happen to be the last 2 non Muslim ones left…Maybe they are Terek Cossacks. The Danger of “Peace”

At outset of Operation Pillar of Defense, here at the Lighthouse we voiced our support for the IDF’s operation and highlighted the dangers and opportunities present in the new realities of the region, brought on by a weak and misguided Western World. Chief among these changes was that a group almost indistinguishable from Hamas (they have a rather intertwined history), is actually in control of Egypt. The first article’s headline, –Gilad Shalit and many more Avenged today – Egypt is Not the Same was repeated nearly verbatim a few days later by Egypt’s new Islamist President Mohammed Morsi: Cairo would not leave Gaza alone as I tell them on behalf of the Egyptian people that Egypt today is different from Egypt yesterday and Arabs today are different from the Arabs yesterday. He went on to say that: if I see that the homeland is in danger, I won’t hesitate. Earlier on Friday he was quoted as: Gaza will not remain alone as it was…the aggressors know they will pay a heavy price is they continue their aggression. Tel-Aviv has been hit – It’s on Now

You may bomb Sderot, Ashkelon and Beer Sheba in the South freely, you may bomb Haifa in the North all you want, and still Israel will usually respond with no more than the ironic “We will not tolerate (yet we are tolerating) ..” But if you bomb Tel-Aviv, home of Israel’s left and ruling elite who are all too willing to give away the rest of the tiny nation as long as they are left alone, then you invoke a massive response. Just Yesterday, I warned about the growing confidence of Hamas controlled Gaza with a supportive Egypt under the Muslim Brotherhood. Today, the seriousness of my warning was shown with an Egyptian ambassador recalled and Hamas launching Iranian missiles at Tel-Aviv. We must keep in mind, that while they have dared to go further than before, note that they also show their overall inability and weakness. Gilad Shalit and many more Avenged Today – Egypt is not the Same

Today Israel, in a humanitarian effort to help Hamas residents of Gaza, has aided Ahmed Jabari obtain the coveted of goal of 72 virgins in heaven, a goal Ahmed himself sent so many young Arabs to go seek…. But who is this Ahmed Jabari? A career Hamas terrorist who had formerly been infamous for his 9 lives, he had spent time in prison both in Israel and under Fatah (the Palestinian Authority) for terrorist activities, but always found a way to be freed. Jabari was a key architect of the Hamas takeover of the Gaza Strip from Dahlan’s Fatah security forces, and Hamas has maintained its hold on Gaza under Jabari and Ismail Haniyeh. Jabari was in effect the supreme military and terror commanded as leader of the Hamas military wing Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades. In addition since Hamas is the defacto ruler of the Gaza Strip, he is Prime Minister Haniyeh’s Minister of Defense. Jabari is an extremely shadowy leader, and before Gilad Shalit’s release, it was not publicly certain if he was even alive. General Petraeus – The Obama Factor

It has been amazing to watch the media and the administration in concert twist and mangle the story-line behind the unfortunate General Petraeus scandal to unrecognizable forms. I have watched details slowly emerge and get twisted for days, with the entire mainstream media ignoring the fact that the General resigned two days after the President’s re-election. Two days… it was not only one day in order to attempt to not be overly obvious, but it was a matter that could not even wait weeks. And it is not exactly clear when Petraeus resigned and when Obama accepted the resignation, he may even have resigned the day after the election. When you get fired from a White House Cabinet position, you always “resign”. The president asks you to resign and you do so – statements are coordinated to maintain dignity, you cite personal reasons and the President thanks you for your service and even praises it. It was clear that this was not that kind of resignation. It really was a resignation. Petraeus walked into the White House and resigned, and thanked the President only for accepting his resignation. Obama’s “Freedom Protesters” turn into a “Small and Savage Group”

Despite the Western World’s best efforts to forget who it is at war with (or at least who is at war with it), the Islamic World which shares no such confusion, sent a courtesy 9/11 anniversary reminder in Benghazi. (A theme often repeated at the Lighthouse, here and here among many). The embassies in Egypt, Yemen, Tunisia and of course Libya have been attacked by Islamic mobs. In EACH of these cases, the US and Europe heavily supported the mobs’ takeover of the country. Ironically, in nations where the US has not yet been successful in collapsing the regime, the US embassies remained safe. The mob now has repaid in kind. If you wonder why no such attack happened in Syria, well of course the US withdrew its ambassador back in February, but such an attack and murder would not be possible until Assad’s regime is removed (by US and Qatari backed Islamists) and replaced with an Islamic one. At that point, perhaps by next Sept 11, then the new ambassador can be in place for attack and murder. Islamist Morsi Takes down the Egyptian Army?

In a surprising move, and what seems to be a preemptive coup, Egypt’s new Islamist President (member of the jihadist Muslim Brotherhood) Muhammed Morsi has declared Field Marshal Tantawi and General Sami Hafez Anan, who led Egypt’s ruling military council (SCAF), “retired” along with other top Generals. Perhaps more importantly, he has cancelled the latest constitutional amendment (which gave the Army broader powers than the President), and replaced it with a new amendment, which actually grants the new President greater autocratic powers than those that Mubarak had previously held. So much for the “freedom protesters”. Interestingly, this comes in the wake of an Islamic attack in the Sinai-Gaza area which left 16 Egyptian security personnel dead and more wounded. As it stands, it APPEARS that this move was part of an agreement reached between Morsi and the leading Generals. That is far from certain, and it is mostly derived from the fact that both Generals were praised, thanked for their “patriotic” cooperation, given medals of honor, and declared henceforth Presidential advisers, a move which seems to point to immunity from prosecution and a peaceful retirement. Islamist Morsi Victor in Egypt, the Army retains Power – Obama and Iran in usual agreement and “I told you So’s”

Mohamed Morsi of the Muslim Brotherhood is the new President elect of Egypt. Just hours before the announcement was made on Sunday, The Lighthouse reported the following: The question is what is happening behind closed doors, and if the Generals will really give up the country to the Brotherhood? What seems to be taking place is that the army will declare them victorious, as long as they accept that they lead the government in name only. It will be a weak presidential office, and rubber stamp parliament (if it ever is allowed to convene) and real power will remain with the military. That appears to be exactly what happened. Morsi and the Islamists accepted the reduced powers of the office and Constitutional amendments in return for the military council declaring him the winner albeit by a very small margin. The constitutional amendments effectively reduce the President to that of a Governor of a province or state. The army retains full independence in action, appointments of Generals and of the Minister of Defense (currently the real boss in Egypt, the formidable Gen. Tantawi). The President cannot declare war nor peace, and cannot even deploy troops internally without the Military’s consent.
