More about the Arizona Shooting Sad to say, “told you so”… (previous articles on this) The headline : Arizona shooting victim arrested after allegedly threatening Tea Party member I pointed out in my last note on the subject the massive hypocrisy and self-denial of the media and the left as they demanded more “civility” in public discourse while they accused S Palin, the Tea Party and others on the Right of murder (blaming them for the shooting in Tucson). It was some of the grandest self delusion I have ever seen. I asked rhetorically in my last note what the leaders of the left would say if someone, based on their incitement would shoot Sara Palin. Because if these right wing leaders simply stating, however strongly, that the liberals are wrong in their policies (this freedom of opinion apparently is “uncivil”) is enough to incite murder, then I am quite sure accusing people of murder and innocent’s deaths is far more than enough for much more of the same. “Shooting” Follow Up

Follow up to earlier “Shooting” Article Unfortunately, as I predicted, the “blame the right wing” movement is in full force due to the shooting. The same politicians who engage in rhetoric are now condemning it as decisive and inflammatory. They are blaming this shooting on their favorite target, Sara Pailin. They demand it stop (of course they mean the rhetoric of their opponents should stop, not their own). It is especially ironic that as they demand more civility and condemn demonization, they accuse their political opponents of murder. That’s pretty civil. And there is little more demonizing then blaming people for deaths and murder. So I want to know who among these leftists pundits will take responsibility if someone was to shoot Sarah Palin. Don’t let them fool you, do not simmer vigorous debate and free speech. Do not “shut up” ashamed or afraid. Quite the opposite. As for updates on details about this Jeff shooter, for those who wish to insist on labeling him a right wing extremist only because he was white (and one of his victims a Democrat)… his online profile listed as one of a few favorite books, “The Communist Manifesto”, he was an avowed [...]

First off, I join the many thousands of people who wish Rep. Gabrielle Giffords all the best in a full recovery, and condolences to the family of the innocent people murdered today in Tucson, including a federal judge and a young girl. Secondly, before all the inevitable (actually I am sure it already started) finger pointing and politicizing of the situation and giant backlash against conservatives (since Rep. Giffords is a Democrat), let me remind everyone of two things. 1. Of course this Jared Loughner (sp?) is just a nut, and it is of little importance what political views he may have thought he had. 2. In spite of that, he is nothing but a Pot head who seems to be a rambling liberal idiot with his “stream of consciousness” “conscious dreaming” “intellectual currency” “literacy” “civil rights” and similar terms in his youtube video…. 3. Because he is white, the media will try and is trying hard to paint him as an ultra-conservative right wing gun toting christian fundamentalist white supremacist but he obviously is far from that, pretty much the opposite of that. The media will focus hard on the “literacy” part of his ramblings, [...]
