The 22nd Knesset’s True Colors

At the Lighthouse, we have tried to let the people know that the Blue and White Alliance members are neither Zionists, nor centrists, but mere leftists and/or opportunists. And the voting bloc they represent and would form a government with (had it reached 61), is not a “Center-Left” bloc by any reasonable measure, as is reported, but a leftist if not far-left bloc. Why the mislabeling? Simple, the media is dominated by leftist individuals, but the term is not popular. Blue and White tried desperately to distance itself from the term, and the media helped. As desperately as they ran to the left once the election is over to form their government. The media can label the bloc “center-left”, but it cannot avoid naming its members. Blue and WhiteLabor (Labor-Gesher)Meretz (Democratic Union)The Arab parties (Joint List) These entities had 57 seats in the Knesset in the 21st Knesset, and pending final results, it seems they will have 57 give or take a seat, in the 22nd Knesset. The Trump Access Hollywood Leak, it’s Social Context and What is at Stake

The Lighthouse Keeper’s take on the Donald Trump Access Hollywood Tape that was recently leaked, and subsequently pummeled his poll numbers. This is an analysis of tape, the context in which it was leaked (after being held for 11 years by NBC and Access Hollywood only to be released by them (and the Washington Post) within a month of the General Election, and coinciding with the Wikileaks release of Hillary Clinton confidant John Podesta’s emails). It would always have generated some ratings, at any time during those 11 years, from the very next day, to any time after that including any time during Trump’s primary race and up until now as the GOP candidate in the general election campaign. It was however, appropriately not considered newsworthy as so much of the off air and off the record material the networks routinely collect during their day-to-day business. Until Hillary Clinton really needed it. This of course, is a lengthy talk, as opposed to my usual in-depth article; trying out a new medium, and depending on reception and circumstances, I will do more talks and/or videos…and after some practice undoubtedly they’re quality will improve! I guess the terrorists didn’t get Obama’s message

…That there was no more “War on Terrorism” He has been continuously saved (and not to mention as many lives have) by a very alert and patriotic post 9-11 citizenry from a real devastating terror attack. A bomber on a plane being subdued by passengers in Christmas, Abdul Hakim Mujahid Muhammad’s murderous June Jihad in Little Rock, Major Nasan’s Islamic rampage of carnage in Ft Hood, and now a car bomb, Iraq or Pakistan style, in the heart of NY city. So far, the administration and its allied mass of media elites have struggled feverishly to try to define these events as anything but terrorism (rather than combat them), and they were literally jumping for joy earlier today and yesterday as a video was seen of a “Caucasian” man taking off his shirt near the suspect vehicle. They “celebrated” a bit too soon apparently. The “international” (Obama speak for terrorism) links are beginning to come out. Treason, betrayal, mental illnesses, crime; that they can understand and love. Patriotism and war they cannot and they fear and hate both equally, though one is a virtue, and the other is a terrible price that is often paid to defend life and freedom. [...]
