Stock Tip Update – Cellcom

Back in the last day of July, the Lighthouse made two stock suggestions to our readership who may have some spare cash to invest and is happy to see bigger than average returns. The first suggestion was CEL (Cellcom Israel LTD), which we correctly predicted had dropped over-zealously due to marker deregulation and competition. The opening price on the day of the article post was 5.54 US dollars per share. The stock price immediately began its steady climb. The very next day saw a 6% profit for those interested in fast profits and very short term swing trading. Within a couple of weeks it had reached 7.45, and well within the time horizon of the vast majority of investors, by September 24, less than two months after the post, CEL had reached 9.33 – a 69% profit return in less than two months! I do not make stock recommendations often, as I tend to stick to loftier discussions, but when I do… they are good. Below is a chart from Google Finance showing CEL’s climb since my endorsement. Sarah Silverman Voter Suppression Fact Check

For those of you who would like a full fact check, and analysis of the issue, you are welcome to read the full article. For a simple Fact Check on Sarah Silverman’s statements on her “Let my People Vote” Video, enjoy.[break][break] Sarah begins by stating that the new set of State Voter ID Laws target specific group of people; Blacks, the poor, the elderly and students. Obviously the new laws do not in any way directly target any group or race. They simply require some sort of photo ID in order to vote. The US until this election, was one of the only developed countries on earth where no ID whatsoever was required to vote. The laws vary in detail from state, but share in common that all accept virtually all state and federal issued photo IDs. Most also have exemptions for the disabled, the elderly and others.[break][break] Sarah explains that the four groups affected, blacks, students, the poor and the elderly are all Obama voters. The Lie of “Voter Suppression” – Sarah Silverman Joins the Fearmonger Bandwagon

Sarah Silverman Voter Suppression Fact Check Sarah Silverman, who apparently has lost some of the fresh edge and youthful look that created the shock-value of her taboo-breaking and vulgar act (she now seems to be gradually fitting into a rather common cliché, the cursing bitter middle aged woman), has a popular video circulating where she mocks and seems to belittle the recent state Voter ID laws while frantically carrying the banner of racial incitement and fear of the “Gestapo-like evil Republicans”. I select this video as an example of the left’s position on the issue because it is among the best made and catchy; a viewer can reasonably come away from it thinking that she makes a reasonably good argument, albeit with crude annoying attempts at cheap humor. Many people may even be left uncomfortably wondering if the GOP truly simply wishes to disenfranchise voters on racial grounds. These new set of laws, meant to curb voter fraud, differ in exact detail from state to state, but basically simply require that voters show up at the voting booth with some form of valid photo ID. Obama’s “Freedom Protesters” turn into a “Small and Savage Group”

Despite the Western World’s best efforts to forget who it is at war with (or at least who is at war with it), the Islamic World which shares no such confusion, sent a courtesy 9/11 anniversary reminder in Benghazi. (A theme often repeated at the Lighthouse, here and here among many). The embassies in Egypt, Yemen, Tunisia and of course Libya have been attacked by Islamic mobs. In EACH of these cases, the US and Europe heavily supported the mobs’ takeover of the country. Ironically, in nations where the US has not yet been successful in collapsing the regime, the US embassies remained safe. The mob now has repaid in kind. If you wonder why no such attack happened in Syria, well of course the US withdrew its ambassador back in February, but such an attack and murder would not be possible until Assad’s regime is removed (by US and Qatari backed Islamists) and replaced with an Islamic one. At that point, perhaps by next Sept 11, then the new ambassador can be in place for attack and murder. On Bill Clinton

As I indicated here, I waited with anticipation to hear Bill’s speech, as the Obama team probably waited in terror. More on that shortly, but a stark contrast is apparent. Bill Clinton is the most superior Democrat in the last 50 years… and the major reason (besides his slick willy-ness) is because he is not really a Democrat.. he is not man with convictions, or with ideology, he is as much left as right, a man who believes only that he believes in nothing… I would take that over obama any day, a man who knows nothing but instead believes in everything (that is wrong). Obama would burn america to ashes if he knew one more billionaire suffered because of him or one more enemy nation prospered at the expense of the country he leads. Bill and Obama are universes apart, while one lacks the character and integrity one should have to be the leader of the free world while being a guy you would love to share a beer with, the other despises that very same free world, and if he but spoke his mind, you would ask him in no uncertain terms to leave your bbq and not share your beer.

Skip to your State Introduction (Guide Below) The Lighthouse’s Complete Nov 6 2012 Ballot US Voter Guide. Anyone who is interested in voting well, is welcome to consult. Additional States will be added as they become available. We will focus on statewide candidate and issues, so you will not find many district specific endorsements, though some that warrant mention will be covered. If there is an issue, ballot measure, or race that you would like to see covered, just let me know. Propositions and other Ballot Measures are very tricky. People tend to like them because they seem to be very democratic, and make people feel important, as partners in the legislative process. Unfortunately, more often than not they are used to “fool” the public into voting for measures they would not otherwise vote for. Even though one may agree or disagree with legislators who vote for or against any measure, they almost always at least know what they are voting for. The language of bills meant for legislatures only is far more straightforward, with far less “PR” language then propositions to be voted on by the population.
