Remember this euphoria in 2008? Obama the messiah was here to save us all, and the media had everyone drinking the Kool Aid. No one was more hurt and betrayed than poorer black voters. They came out for him in astronomical numbers. From Obama dreams of no more mortgage, and free gas, to bribing voters with smartphones… it was insane.

(By the way, this lady realized she had been duped, and came out against Obama later on)

As usual, the Democrats forget about the inner city until the next election cycle, but that doesn’t mean they don’t do anything that affects them in between. They do indeed, they pass the same old nice-sounding socialist policies that continue to impoverish America, ship its economy overseas, and it hurts no one more than the working class and the folks in the inner city. Each time they are told to believe rich people are the problem (the same rich people that fund the Democratic campaigns, none more than Hillary’s), and that they will “invest” in jobs.

The government can’t invest in jobs, it can just destroy them. Free people willing to risk their time, sweat and capital create jobs, and where they are welcomes, jobs abound. Rich people aren’t the problem, at least not when they got rich by the fair rules of the free market and not because their Democrat pals on the hill passed special bills for them which limit the free market. Bills that are always touted as “protecting” someone, be it the consumer or dairy farmers, they are always busy protecting everyone, and sending the country to the trash bin of history.

Here is what the 8 years of Obama did specifically for the Black voters who trusted him and his leftist policies:

Everyone has done poorly under Obama, but in all these measures, Blacks have fared much worse than Whites.

  • Black home ownership has sagged from 46.1% in 2009 to 43.3% in 2014

  • And it’s getting only worse, since Obama’s oath of office through the fourth quarter of 2015, the percentage of black Americans who own homes foundered further from 46.1 percent to 41.9 percent, according to the Census — down 9.1 percent.

  • The black workforce is decreasing, down from 58.6% in June 2007 to 52.8% in August 2012.

  • The median minority family’s income is now almost fifth lower than it was when Obama took office with a net worth of just $18,100. This is insane!

  • The Black Poverty rate was at 24.7% in 2007, near the end of the Bush years (a number already very troubling and far too high) , and by 2014 Obama and Democrat policies had raised the poverty rate to 26.2%. Many of the Obama years were worse, near the end of his first term in 2011 it reached 27.6%! A Pew Report claims that the real number in 2014 was still 27.2%

  • Real median income among black households during the Obama years, according to the Census Bureau, sank from $35,954 in 2009 to $35,398 to 2014 — down 1.5 percent. The 2009 number was already incredibly depressed following the largest recession since the Great Depression and the Subprime Loan Financial Meltdown (late 2007 to 2009), and still things only got worse from there!

Even Ben Jealous, president of the NAACP had to (reluctantly and restrained) had to state:

The country’s back to pretty much where it was when this president started. White people in this country are doing a bit better. Black people are doing a full point worse.

  • The number of black food-stamp participants exploded across that time frame from 7,393,000 to 11,699,000, the U.S. Department of Agriculture reports — up 58.2 percent!!! You increase people on food stamps by nearly 60%! For the love of Gd…

  • It gets worse, Blacks’ net worth fell from $16,600 to $11,000. This is an astonishing three-year drop of 34 percent. Investors Business Daily put it this way, “That’s a steeper decline than occurred from 2007 to 2010, when blacks’ net worth fell 13.5 percent.” The black/white “wealth-gap” has reached a 25-year high.

For many of these stats which we only have up until 2014, things have gotten worse still. As far as non economic data, such as crime, shootings, murders, police/community relations etc, you don’t need any stats here to know things have gotten far worse very fast.

I have to admit that I shared in the historical moment of the first Black being president being voted by the USA. Despite the fact I knew his politics would only bring ruin to the country, I was not immune to that positive feeling. The USA had overcome many shortcomings and obstacles and proven why it was the land of opportunity.

A United States that Obama hated had proven it was truly the land of the American Dream, and he vowed to change it. He did, and for the worse.

I wrote at the time that people were misrepresenting things in 2008. We were being told the USA was a horrible racist place that needed “change” (a vague change). And he was going to change it; while what I saw was the American dream in person. The son of a Kenyan immigrant who had nothing, ends up in Harvard to get the best education, studies law, rises to government positions, and ultimately President. The very USA that Obama hated under Reagan, Bush 41, and Bush 43, with all the values that he detested had given him the opportunity to live out his dreams. Something he could not have done in other countries. He was the personification of that possibility that is America. Obama wasn’t born in 2008. The country had also shown it wasn’t very racist by electing him. So what did it need to change to? A place where this was NOT possible? Well, that’s where it has been heading. I also wrote another piece warning about his second victory. But a Hillary term will be much worse.

Needless to say, it was not the fact that Obama was black that created his failure to live up to his promises, but rather the fact that he believed in the same failed socialist policies that Hillary Clinton believes in and will implement (except that Obama probably really did believe them, and HRC believes in nothing other than being president). She will bring a crumbling country to edge of the precipice in every way, political, economic and social. This is why many blacks are already supporting Trump this time around, take a look at some of the celebrities who do.

I reach out to American Black voters, and say, that though for some reason, it is apparently difficult to break loyalty with the party of slavery, the party that resisted the civil rights movement, the party that enforced segregation (the Democratic party to be clear) and give the party of freedom a chance…  I hope for all our sake’s you do.
