The “Iran Deal” – An Easy Analysis

Plenty of headlines have focused on the Iran deal, officially the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action or JCPOA, and they have mostly focused on various details of the plan or been overly focused on broad generalities; most either singing the agreement praises or damning it. Here I would like to take a step back and view it for its obvious implications. September 18, “adoption day”, has come and gone with the US congress unable to usher enough votes to stop the deal, despite their being vigorous opposition to it from both parties. The reason being, that as the Obama administration is fond of doing (and by now quite adept at it), it has once again skirted constitutional “formalities”, the rule of law, and the irksome system of checks and balances with its three independent branches of government. In the USA, according to the constitution, any international treaty must be ratified by two thirds of the senate (something which this agreement could not possibly achieve). The Obama administration termed this agreement an “executive agreement” in order to not fall under a treaty’s requirements. Three teenagers kidnapped by Arab Terrorists – Let us Save them or Avenge them

The recently declared Hamas-Fatah Palestinian Authority government did not take long to show its colors. While embarrassingly, this terrorist government continues to be recognized and dealt with both by Israel and the USA, it is not surprising that on the wake of terror prisoner release deals both by Israel and the US (under the Obama administration), the confident terror networks have struck again. This time they have kidnapped three young Israeli students, (one also holding a US citizenship), apparently some time on Thursday, as they hitchhiked to Mod’in (a small city between Jerusalem and Tel-Aviv). Under George Bush, the palestinian terrorists would have cursed their “bad luck” in having taken a US citizen, and as occurred in the past (in Gaza), but somehow I doubt they very much care now under Barak Hussein Obama. Unfortunately, their lives will bot be saved by FB and twitter hashtags like #bringbackourboys etc…. regardless of how many “likes” you get. They would be saved by the very policies most Jews disagree with. Gilad Shalit Coming Home!? – and lot more news…

Shocking announcement that Israel and Hamas have signed an agreement to bring about Gilad’s return home, and of course the release of over 1000 terrorists. First of all, I am elated to hear of the news of Gilad coming home, great news in the new year! I hope its true and he is well. Many concerns of course… I hope he has not been tortured too badly (for sure at first there almost certainly was some form of it, but cruel cowardly dogs as they are they bore quickly of that). I hope he has not been brainwashed too much, has not been converted to Islam, and remains essentially the same person he was… hard to imagine what has transpired. He certainly will have an interesting story to tell. The worse possible scenario is a case of complete indoctrination where he actually is released and becomes a propaganda tool form them. Unlikely I believe, both because Hamas knew from day one he was to be traded, and as far as I understand (though it remains disputed) he was captured only because he was wounded and perhaps unconscious, and as a Israeli combat soldier, I am sure he has and will [...]
