The 22nd Knesset’s True Colors

At the Lighthouse, we have tried to let the people know that the Blue and White Alliance members are neither Zionists, nor centrists, but mere leftists and/or opportunists. And the voting bloc they represent and would form a government with (had it reached 61), is not a “Center-Left” bloc by any reasonable measure, as is reported, but a leftist if not far-left bloc. Why the mislabeling? Simple, the media is dominated by leftist individuals, but the term is not popular. Blue and White tried desperately to distance itself from the term, and the media helped. As desperately as they ran to the left once the election is over to form their government. The media can label the bloc “center-left”, but it cannot avoid naming its members. Blue and WhiteLabor (Labor-Gesher)Meretz (Democratic Union)The Arab parties (Joint List) These entities had 57 seats in the Knesset in the 21st Knesset, and pending final results, it seems they will have 57 give or take a seat, in the 22nd Knesset. The 2019 Israeli Election & Some Memories. Vote Right!

Something is finally changing int the air. I have known for decades, and written for many years, the same basic truisms that though I noted, seem to escape us as a nation of Jews, and as the voter base of the State of Israel.Somehow, we have endured the progressives’ insistence on ending every aspect of western society, the pressure of political correctness to commit national suicide, and somehow, here we are and though we really can’t see the pendulum swing the other way yet, we feel in this infinitely small slice of time, that it jut might start. The Election is Tomorrow. I think it is one of the most important elections Israel has had in many years if not decades. I have tired to explain for a long time, that the main problem in Israel’s foreign policy is not in its weak attempts at “Hasbara”, PR, marketing nor anything of the sort. The problem is the policy itself. Despite what people may or may not think about Jews and/or Arabs (many don’t like either very much, at least in private), the political reality is a very far cry from what we as Jews and Israelis believe it is. Israel Choses its Fate Today – 2015

(For a review of the parties and chart during the 2013 Election See here) Israel, today we vote… since we give a vote to a people at war with us and bent on our destruction (and in turn are called an apartheid state), the left has about a 22% advantage due the Arab vote. For the “right” to win in Israel, it does not need a majority of Jews to vote for it, it needs an overwhelming majority in order to overcome the near quarter population block that votes along with the Jewish left for the destruction of Israel… With Hamas on one border, ISIS nearing the gates on the other, instability all around, Jihadists (with western support) overturning stable and moderate Arab regimes, a US President openly disdainful of the single Jewish state in the world, and Muslim demographic overrunning much of the world making more and more countries unsafe for non muslims… any Israeli who votes left… deserves the fate that he is voting for.
