Only a few moments ago, a strong and very long earthquake struck Mexico. Information has still not come out but apparently, it was centered in the State of Guerrero (NW of Tecpan), though it was felt throughout the Mexico City area and Toluca, and was at least a 7.02 on the Richter Scale.

Updates to follow when available, most news agencies have not reported on this earthquake that just finished only a couple of minutes ago.

Update:

The US Geological Survey has estimated the earthquake at a magnitude of 7.5, near Petatlan (39 km east), Guerrero at 14:27:29.00 UTC on Apr 18, 2014.

Mexican news agencies are starting to report damage and power outages, and apparently it was felt in much of central and southwestern Mexico.
