On the Palestinian UN Bid – Director’s cut – Great for a basic understanding beyond the headlines.

Sept 22 2011 The Director’s Cut to an Article I submitted here: The Palestinian UN Bid; The Danger and Folly The world in large part, with very important exceptions, seems to be backing the PLO Chairman and PNA President Mahmoud Abbas’s UN bid for full or partial membership of a Palestinian State. On the face it, I am sure the world citizen is tempted to ask: “And why not?” Of course to many who are avowed enemies of Israel, this is quite a positive development. But to many well meaning people in many well meaning countries, who in fact wish Israel no harm, it appears so as well. After all, “We”, believers of freedom, self-determination, human dignity and peace should support a people trying to achieve those goals. Beyond that, one may make the easy assumption that this bid for statehood is a watershed moment for ending the bitter, wretched, conflict that has been plaguing both the people of the Levant and the world. The aforementioned perspective is reasonable in light of the typical global media coverage of the conflict. NATO Bombs put this man in charge…

Today he spoke in Tripoli and said (Libya’s Rebel Interim PM Mustafa Abdel Jali) “We seek a state of law, prosperity and one where sharia (Islamic law) is the main source for legislation, and this requires many things and conditions,” he said Sharia law… main source of legislation, sounds like Iran. Cool… Article oh and here is some more Al-Qeada supporting the Arab Spring and toppling “secular regimes” still, on the anniversary of the 911, fightin right along the US and NATO… Article DUBAI (Reuters) – Al Qaeda has released a message in which Osama bin Laden’s successor as the group’s leader, Egyptian Ayman al-Zawahiri, said al Qaeda supported the Arab Spring. The hour-long video was released to mark the 10th anniversary of al Qaeda’s September 11, 2001 attacks on the United States. The SITE Monitoring Service, which tracks jihadist statements, quoted al-Zawahiri as saying he hoped the protest movements that have overthrown leaders in Egypt, Tunisia and Libya would establish what he called true Islam.

These are a few notes combined that I have been wanting to write the last few days as events unfolded and was not able to find the time. Therefore, it is far too long, but divided into sections for those interested… Intro In spite of the 911 anniversary, (and awesomeness of seeing George W speak again), and the sharp reminder that should be of the enemy the west faces, quite the opposite seems to be happening, and the Obama era of appeasement of the USA’s enemies and betrayal of its friends is yielding direct results, the International noose is closing in around Israel who as always stands on the very front line of this War of West vs East. Some days ago, before the dramatic declarations and events in Egypt, the IDF Commander of the Home Front, Maj.-Gen. Eyal Eisenberg, warned about a possible Multi Front Middle-East-Wide War with WMDs being used. He cited the spiraling tensions with Turkey and (as apparently as a reader of my posts) and the revolutions across the Arab world. He also got into a lot of trouble for voicing this opinion. Today 400,000 Israelis whiners whined…

It was Tel-Aviv… Unfortuantely I saw a bit of the 25 minute speech that the crazy spoiled insane girl from north tel-aviv who has never lived, suffered, worked, triumphed or failed in her life made… she was high on the fact thousands of like minded whiners were listening to her and she started to immitate hitler with her mannerisms. She blamed everyone for everthing except those responsbile for it, from being in “minus” (in israel the banks are nice enough to let you go into negative in your account, basically a very very cheap loan you didn’t even apply for) to shouting that it was a right for all the commi hippies to live together in the mercaz (center) and it should not be more expensive than living elsewhere (like saying its every american’s “right” to live in Manhattan in a 5 million dollar apt) to other absurdities… It is a result of the worship of the young in western society… the youth this and the young that… the news fall in love with them and tell them they are wizards… they are ignorant whiny punks… nothing more…. in a normal society the “elders” are respected as they have life experience, wisdom, [...]

More Al Qeada links among the Rebels and intrigue in Qadaffi’s Clan

Western Media reported that one Qadaffi son, (the footlabll player I think) Said, is trying to surrender while Saif (the leading regime figure and second eldest son) has vowed to fight to the death… Hakim Belhadj, the rebel commander in Tripoli, who of course was detaiend in 2003 by the CIA in Malaysia for leading a terror group and having links to Al Qaeda, reported that Said had called him asking to negotiate a surrender and guarantees of his safety. The image apparently trying to be created is of turmoil between the brothers, and though I am sure there is plenty of pressure, I don’t think that is what is happening. Just one or two days ago, the same son tried offered to lead talks with the rebel about a transitional goverment which were rejected. When reading more details into the pruported statemtents of negotiating a surrender, one can see the offer was actually to “join” the movement of the people against the regime. It lokos like two sides of the same coin, the Qadaffis are trying to see if they can get one of the sons in teh new goverment. Said is relatively “clean” as far accusations of crimes. Either [...]
