Despite every effort, Newt can no longer be Ignored in today’s Southern Primaries

Yahoo News finally caved and posted this article on their home page. When to the very last minute, data indicated that Newt holds a lead in both critical southern states today, they had no chance but to post inforation stating so (as to not appear completely blnidsided if the results come to fruition). But a quick perusal, of the last couple of week’s headlines would lead anyone to believe Newt was not even running anymore. The reporting sounded like Alabama and Mississippi were clearly being contested by Romney and Satorum only, while there was in fact a third trailing cadidate… Ron Paul. Newt Gingrich was hardly mentioned, despite the (albeit scarce) polling data showing he was a front runner in both Southern States. It is more irrefutable evidence of the desperation the mainstream media has in derailing New’ts campaign. They can handle an all too socially conservative (easy to scare off voters) Santorum who in fact is well to the economic left of any real mainstream conservative candidate (very pro-union, and a sort of Pat Buchanan Republican), and they can definitely handle a Mitt Romney, who for all his talk of being an “outsider” could teach a high level course on being a rehearsed, polling data driven, adviser-led [...]

Get the word out there.. Share, link, call, email, post,…Remind… Vote for Mr Gingrich. For he nears the “make it or break it” time.. and all the regrets in the world will not later bring him back. This opportunity happens few times in a lifetime. Any registered Republicans in the Super Tuesday states… We have a chance at nominating an Intellectual powerhouse, a man with the courage to state his beliefs clearly, be them that the “Palestinian” people are an invented people (for the purposes of of taking land from the Jewish state), or that the government regulations trying to solve every problem under the sun have actually deprived the American people of their Gd given freedom and ability to prosper. A man with the moral clarity to face our enemies, and stand by our friends. A conservative, not driven to his beliefs simply by his religion or socioeconomic background (Santorum and Romney), but from deeply understood Intellectual conclusions. A lover of freedom, of America, of her allies, of liberty with all its ups and downs and a patriot who wishes to preserve those freedoms with all the courage necessary to do so. Iowa – Santorum and on..

All right, Santorum gained a few points in my book, by his talk at what he thought was probably a close win near the end of the reporting in Iowa yesterday: His story about his grandfather’s hands digging freedom for him in a Pennsylvania mine. His remark about a best friend being one who knows your life song, and sings it back to you when you forget the words. His remark about Obama’s remark about middle americans “clinging to their guns and their bibles” Santorum said.. “Thank Gd”, eliminating manufacturing corporate tax was not bad either, though his unequal tax treatment of diff industries (just can’t walmart can’t move to china is not ideologically good) … and must give credit to the strategy, nose to the ground, hard work, with little money, ignoring the pundits, and devising his own iowa momentum strategy and focusing on it and carrying through. that was impressive. Too bad his “conservatism” comes simply from his faith (Catholic), not a true conservative, his loyalties lie with unions and poor workers… he can’t shake the picture of union mine workers like his grandfather. for his hard work, and social conservatism and religiousness, he isnt a true conservative, [...]

The New Hampshire Debate (and Rankings)

Newt is still awesome! He was almost ignored by the annoying moderator (was he anderson cooper’s boyfriend?) who should have been shot for saying “all right, all right” after the candidate had said more than 2 words, but every time he spoke, he was incredibly calm, intellectually deep and accurate and full of the confidence of principle. When Romney had made a quite presidential and seemingly flawless response, where he tried to make Herman Cain look bad for saying he would not hire a Muslim in his administration, Newt came in with an uppercut, with bold non PC-ness and one upped him where it seemed impossible. Again, substance over symbolism and political posturing; he told of a terrorist suspect in court, who when asked by the Judge why he broke the US rules when he himself had signed that he would abide by them when obtaining his entry visa, said “you are my enemy, I lied”. This type of geopolitical realism is so sorely missed with this fumbling administration who constantly betrays friends, and rewards enemies (by virtue of fear).
