The Cost of Deporting America’s Illegals

Responding to a question on social media, I briefly addressed this issue, and reproduce it here. Namely the issue of the cost and economics of the well known campaign promise by Donald Trump to, as President, expel the 12 or so million illegal aliens currently residing within the USA. It is a very good question because once passed the inciting rhetoric of the issue, the media has largely presented the idea of deporting all or great part of America’s illegal alien population as physically and economically virtually impossible. As usual, this declaration is made a priori and without basis, to be accepted as fact. So, let’s take an actual look at the issue. As a preface it must be stated that the cost is nearly irrelevant. First of all, although I do not explain it here, nor have I fully elsewhere yet, I think this issue is the most important currently in the western world, and the execution of one of these deemed “impossible” or “unrealistic” demographic changes is one of the few hopes left to the western world. Ted Cruz’s Missed Opportunity

Unfortunately, I have not been able to write much commentary on the GOP race recently, though there was plenty of material I wished to discuss. But here we are Super Tuesday, and it has been interesting to say the least. I will try to very briefly recap some of the thoughts I either had or conveyed on social media. It was clear to me from the start of this over-packed primary season, that Ted Cruz was the man that most correctly understood conservative values, capitalism, and the geopolitical challenges facing America. He also had that Hispanic name which, we have been force-fed since 2012 is necessary for a Republican to win the White House today. But unlike Rubio, none of flip-flopping and leftist positions on certain issues. I commented on these things more fully back in an article early on at the outset of the Trump campaign. In that article, it was correctly and quickly perceived that the raw never that Trump had hit had to do with immigration mostly, and with a suffocating culture of political correctness and “whininess” in the second. Way to go Arizona! Don’t back down…

My last post reported a NY man, who uncharacteristically helped a woman being attacked and was stabbed in the process, was ignored for 30 hours by passing fellow Nyers until he slowly bled to death. NY, way to suck, but Arizona, way to go. Arizona, fed up by the Federal Government’s willful failure to do its Constitutionally mandated task of defending its national borders, has taken upon itself to aid that same Federal Government in enforcing the existing laws of immigration. Usually, the news of the drug violence, kidnappings, murders and armed thugs spilling over the border from Mexico in ever increasing numbers (to the point the Mexican army has crossed into Arizona and Texas several times and been in standoffs with local law enforcement). However, due to the national coverage of the new bill, as it was being debated, an Arizona sheriff was shot by illegal drug running Mexicans with AK-47s This is routine violence among the border that never gets national coverage. But Arizonians sure know about it and are sick of it.
