2018 California Voter Guide – Stop the do nots, from Ruling the Doers.

A tad late, but as certain as always, the correct Voting guide for these 2018 Midterm Election in the state of California. Correct for any patriotic American who values liberty, honor, their fellows, the rule of law and not of men, and the security and prosperity of their sovereign state and their country, the USA. We lead busy lives, and a good citizen does not want fall for the shenanigans of politicians in their endless attempt to lead and in turn be led by the masses. The tricky wording of propositions and the lack of exposure to the pertinent circumstances of local elections require the responsible citizen to do many hours of research in order to vote correctly, and according to his beliefs and ideology. To such wonderful folks, this might come in handy. California 2019 Nov 6 Senate Dianne Feinstein Kevin de Leron Hardly matters, pick your Trotskyist or Bolshevik at your leisure. As a Jew, I can say it would be nice to see a non Jew attempt to be as anti-Israel as Feinstein manages to be, rather than seeing a fellow Jew do it so why not? let’s go for “Change!” Democrats like that don’t [...]

For Our California Readers – Don’t be Fooled at the Polls

For our friends in California who have busy and interesting lives, and better things to do than check for political tricks in fine print, we offer this common sense advice about the ballot they will face tomorrow statewide, and especially in LA County. Many will unfortunately be fooled into Voting for things they would rather not if they understood them well. The propositions are a mine field of sweet sounding proposals with venom in their fine print. Taken from our official Voter Guide, in the California Section: US Senat and House State Senat and Assembly LA Country District Attorney Proposition 30 – NO Proposition 31 – NO Proposition 32 – YES Proposition 33 – YES Proposition 34 – NO Proposition 35 – NO Proposition 36 – ? Proposition 37 – NO Proposition 38 – NO Proposition 39 – NO Proposition 40 – NO US Senate Elizabeth Emken (Elizabeth is energetic and perfectly qualified, but be satisfied that no one can be worse than her opponent Dianne Feinstein) US House of Representatives Interestingly, after voters stripped the legislature of the powers to draw congressional districts for their (Democrats) benefit, this will be the first general election with the new districts. Skip to your State Introduction (Guide Below) The Lighthouse’s Complete Nov 6 2012 Ballot US Voter Guide. Anyone who is interested in voting well, is welcome to consult. Additional States will be added as they become available. We will focus on statewide candidate and issues, so you will not find many district specific endorsements, though some that warrant mention will be covered. If there is an issue, ballot measure, or race that you would like to see covered, just let me know. Propositions and other Ballot Measures are very tricky. People tend to like them because they seem to be very democratic, and make people feel important, as partners in the legislative process. Unfortunately, more often than not they are used to “fool” the public into voting for measures they would not otherwise vote for. Even though one may agree or disagree with legislators who vote for or against any measure, they almost always at least know what they are voting for. The language of bills meant for legislatures only is far more straightforward, with far less “PR” language then propositions to be voted on by the population.
